Benhachem Wants Mbarki and Lwarsh
Express TV: Mustafa Filali
Mohamed Benhachem, coach of Wydad Casablanca, has included both Mehdi Mbarki and South African Lwarsh in the initial list of players who will resume training in preparation for the upcoming season, considering them key pillars in his new technical project.
Benhachem aims to retain Mbarki, who played last season with Wydad on loan from Al Ain FC, alongside Lwarsh, who joined the team during the second half of the season on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Although the loan periods for both players ended with Wydad’s participation in the Club World Cup, the technical team’s desire to continue relying on them may push the club’s management to reopen negotiations to extend their stay within the red team’s ranks.
