Autopsy Reveals Cause of Child’s Death in Boumia, Excludes Sexual or Physical Assault

A post-mortem examination reveals the cause of a child’s death in Boumia, ruling out sexual or physical assault.

The Attorney General at the Appeals Court in Errachidia confirmed that the initial investigation results regarding the death of a child in Boumia indicate the death was due to asphyxiation by a rope, with no signs suggesting sexual or physical assault.

The same source explained that upon discovering the child’s body, the public prosecutor ordered the judicial police to conduct an in-depth investigation to determine the circumstances and details surrounding the death. The investigation included interviewing several individuals, including the parents of the victim, as well as conducting field examinations of the body and taking necessary samples for testing.

The autopsy concluded that the cause of death was asphyxiation, confirming the absence of any signs of physical violence or sexual assault.

The Attorney General stressed that investigations are still ongoing and that the public prosecutor will take the necessary legal actions once the investigation is complete.
