On July 22, 2025, in Casablanca, Attijariwafa Bank announced the launch of its new open innovation program named “Open Start by Wenov,” through its dedicated innovation unit, Wenov. This strategic program this year is themed around artificial intelligence, aiming to enhance the dynamics of open innovation within the group through effective partnerships with promising startups.

Strategic Partnerships for Targeted Support

Within the framework of this program, Attijariwafa Bank has partnered with two of the leading innovation incubators:

– CEED Maroc, a leading institution supporting young entrepreneurs, which will take charge of 11 challenges identified within the bank and its financing branches in Morocco.
– OST International, focused on supporting innovation across the African continent, which will accompany 4 challenges launched by the group’s international branches.

A Collaborative and Experimental Program

The “Open Start by Wenov” program is based on a collaborative methodology that combines:

– Mature startups selected for their innovative capabilities;
– Professional and technical experts from Attijariwafa Bank;
– Support institutions CEED Maroc and OST International.

The program enables the development of Proofs of Concept addressing strategic topics relevant to the group, relying on artificial intelligence as a driver for sustainable digital transformation.
