Arrest of a Man in Salé for Stealing Two Ride-Sharing Vehicles
This morning, security forces from the regional security department in Salé arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of stealing two vehicles through violent means.
Details of the crime reveal that the suspect, along with another individual, lured drivers of two ride-sharing vehicles, subsequently executing two consecutive thefts.
The Salé security department reported that both suspects used the same criminal method on two occasions. They brandished a knife to steal the two vehicles and the cash inside them, after which the victims filed complaints with the appropriate security services.
This prompted the judicial police service in Salé to launch an in-depth investigation, resulting in the apprehension of one suspect who was inebriated and under the influence of drugs. He is being interrogated regarding the circumstances of his actions, which enabled the recovery of the stolen vehicles, along with the confiscation of the weapon used in the crime.
Following instructions from the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect is undergoing judicial proceedings to ascertain the further details and circumstances of the case in order to apprehend the second individual, whose identity has been established.
