The Moroccan defender Adil Tahif has chosen to join Qatari club Umm Salal, marking his first professional venture beyond the national league after signing a one-season contract that is extendable.
This transfer comes as a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with RS Berkane, where he played for three years since the summer of 2022, arriving from Chabab Mohammedia.
The 24-year-old player preferred to take on a new challenge in the Qatar Stars League after negotiations for a renewal with his previous club stalled. He hopes this move will enhance his professional development and provide him with new international experience that strengthens his standing in the football arena.
