Walid Regragui confirmed that the changes were significant in assessing the performance of certain players.
During the press conference held after the national team’s friendly match, where the Atlas Lions secured a 1-0 victory, the head coach noted that the players who took to the field as starters for the first time handled the game well.
He added that adjustments during friendlies are always necessary to evaluate player levels and enhance team performance. “What matters is winning regardless of performance, as the details of each match differ from one to another,” he stated.
It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan national team triumphed over their Tunisian counterparts with a score of 2-0 in the friendly match that took place last Friday at the Grand Stadium of Fez.
