Jorge Vilda will reveal on Tuesday the list of the Atlas Lionesses participating in the “Morocco CAN.”
The head coach of the national women’s football team, Jorge Vilda Rodríguez, will hold a press conference next Tuesday morning at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamora to announce the final list of players who will represent Morocco in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled from July 5 to 26, 2025.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced in an official statement that the conference will begin at 11 AM and will provide an opportunity to disclose the national coach’s selections and details of the final preparations before entering the continental competitions.
The national team participates in the tournament as the host country, having been drawn into Group A alongside the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zambia, and Senegal—a group considered strong and promising for exciting matches.
Moroccan fans are counting on the “Atlas Lionesses” to deliver outstanding performances and continue their continental success following past achievements, especially since the tournament is taking place on home soil, in exceptional conditions that enable the pursuit of a first continental title.
