Donald Trump Announces Talks Between Washington and Tehran Next Week
The American president, Donald Trump, announced that the United States will engage in discussions with Iran next week, following the recent war between Tehran and Israel, which saw American involvement through the bombing of nuclear facilities within Iran.
Trump’s statement came during a press conference held at the conclusion of a NATO summit in The Hague, where he indicated the possibility of reaching an agreement regarding Iran’s nuclear program, saying, “We will talk to the Iranians next week; we might sign an agreement, I don’t know.”
