The Casablanca Stock Exchange began its trading today, Monday, on a positive note, with its benchmark index “MASI” recording a gain of 0.61 percent, settling at 18,086.13 points.
The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 companies listed on the exchange, rose by 0.74 percent to 1,476.42 points. Additionally, MASI.ESG, the index of companies with the best ratings, advanced by 0.81 percent, reaching 1,227.21 points.
Meanwhile, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the exchange, gained 0.41 percent to 1,783.76 points.
The MASI index had concluded trading last Friday with an increase of 0.31 percent.
