Coach of Al Ain Decides on Rahimi’s Participation Against Wydad
Al Ain coach Vladimir Ivic has confirmed that Hussein Rahimi will start on the bench in his team’s match against Wydad Athletic Club. He indicated that the decision to bring Rahimi into the game would depend on the flow of the match and the team’s need to bolster its attack.
During the press conference preceding the match, Ivic stated, “Hussein joined the team three weeks ago and has been training well. Sometimes we field one striker and at other times two in the attacking line.”
He added, “At this moment, Hussein is not part of the starting plan, but of course, he waits for his opportunity from the bench. I believe that players like Laba and Sofiane, who play in these competitions, have an advantage for me, and that’s completely natural.”
The coach concluded by saying, “Tomorrow, Rahimi is expected to be on the bench, and we will see the possibility of deploying him and whether he can help us during the match.” It is worth noting that the game between the two teams will take place tomorrow, Thursday, at 8 PM.
