Moroccan defender Youssef Lekhadim is nearing a loan move from his Spanish club Real Madrid in search of more playing time.
According to “africafoot,” Lekhadim has reached an agreement with Deportivo Alavés for a loan transfer, with the club taking over his monthly salary until the end of next season instead of Real Madrid.
The same source noted that Lekhadim decided to follow in the footsteps of Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, seizing the loan opportunity away from his current club to enhance his technical and physical skills, similar to what the Paris Saint-Germain player did when he left Real Madrid for Dortmund at the age of 18.
It is worth mentioning that Youssef Lekhadim has been included in Real Madrid’s first-team roster this season for several matches, but he has only remained on the bench without playing any minutes.
