QNA Agency: “His Majesty the King conducts a telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar”

In a telephone call held on Monday, Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a call from His Majesty King Mohammed VI, during which they discussed the current regional developments following the Iranian attack on Qatar’s Al Udeid Air Base.
During the conversation, His Majesty reaffirmed Morocco’s firm stance in support of Qatar, expressing his strong condemnation of this blatant violation of Qatari sovereignty and the country’s airspace. The King described the attack as a “clear violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.”
King Mohammed VI also emphasized Morocco’s rejection of any aggression against the security and safety of Qatar or any threat to the stability of the region, calling for the need to exercise restraint and prioritize diplomatic solutions to resolve disputes.
This phone call is part of the ongoing coordination between the two brotherly countries, reaffirming the depth of Moroccan-Qatari relations and the solidarity of the Kingdom of Morocco with Qatar in these sensitive circumstances.
