Moroccan national team defeats Benin (1-0) in a friendly match held on Monday evening at the “Complexe Sportif de Fès,” as part of the preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations “Morocco 2025.”
Ayoub El Kaabi scored the only goal of the match in spectacular fashion with an “impressive overhead kick” that found the back of the net in the 45+1 minute.
Coach Walid Regragui brought on Osama Targhaline and Amine Zahzouh to inject new energy into the national team during the last thirty minutes of the second half, replacing Sofiane Amrabat and Osama Sahrawi, but there were no notable changes.
It is worth mentioning that the Moroccan team had previously won their first friendly match against Tunisia, scoring two goals without reply, thanks to Achraf Hakimi and Ayoub El Kaabi.
