Italian club Genoa extends coach Patrick Vieira’s contract until August 2027.
In a statement, the Italian club announced that this decision comes after the significant efforts of the French coach to keep the team in Serie A, as well as to continue working with stability and continuity.
Since Vieira took charge of Genoa last November, the team has shown improvement, becoming more solid, flexible, and possession-oriented, allowing them to climb the Serie A standings. They finished the last season, 2024-2025, in 13th place with 43 points after being close to relegation.
