Wydad Athletic Club has signed the Syrian international forward Omar Al-Soma to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to be held in the United States from June 15 to July 13.
Wydad has also bolstered its roster with other players for the tournament, including Hamza El Henni, Nordin Amrabat, Burkinabe player Aziz Ki, Dutchman Bart Meyers, and Brazilian Guilherme Ferreira.
This afternoon, the team’s delegation departed from Mohammed V Airport to the United States, where they will enter a closed training camp before the tournament begins.
