Suspicion Arrested for Vandalizing Police Gate in a State of Intoxication
The Casablanca police swiftly responded to a video circulating on Sunday morning, June 8, showing an individual in an abnormal state causing chaos and damaging the entrance of the “Riyad Salama” police precinct in Mohammedia.
Initial investigations revealed that the incident occurred in the early hours of the morning while the precinct was closed. A police patrol intervened immediately and apprehended the suspect at the scene.
The suspect is a national from a Sub-Saharan African country residing in Morocco illegally and was in a state of intoxication at the time of the incident.
He has been placed under provisional detention, and the investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the public prosecutor to uncover the circumstances of the case and determine the criminal actions attributed to him.
