The highest score in the Baccalaureate exams for the Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region for the 2024-2025 academic year reached 19.00 out of 20, reflecting a strong presence of public schools in the final results.

This shared score was achieved by student Asma El Ghachani, who studies in the Physical Sciences track with a French option at Hassan II High School in Laayoune, and student Yahya Lamhmoudi, who studies in the Mechanical Sciences and Technologies track at the technical high school under the same administration.
