Workers at Peugeot Citroën in Kenitra Demand Fairness and Improved Working Conditions

Workers from Peugeot Citroën in Kenitra organized a protest on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in front of the Moroccan Labor Union’s headquarters, coinciding with Labor Day celebrations, to demand fairness and improvements in their professional conditions.

The workers raised slogans calling for full integration into the company, the cessation of temporary contracts, and the adoption of a fair wage system that aligns with their efforts and working conditions at the factory.

They also expressed their dissatisfaction with deteriorating safety conditions, inadequate health coverage, and the absence of fair compensation for overtime and transportation, considering that the company management has ignored their legitimate demands for months.

Participants called for a direct dialogue with their union representatives and an end to all forms of repression against union freedoms, indicating that the continuation of this situation would compel them to escalate their actions.

The workers affirmed that their movement does not target the company’s interests but seeks to ensure dignity and justice at work, urging relevant authorities to intervene to protect their rights and enforce labor laws rigorously.
