The Ethics Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has issued disciplinary decisions following the events that occurred during the match between Wydad Athletic Club and Ittihad Tanger, as part of the tenth round of the “Inwi” Professional League, which ended in a 2-2 draw at the Arab Zaouli Stadium.

The committee decided to suspend Ahmed Amin Khoya, the physiotherapist of Wydad, for one year and fined him 30,000 dirhams for using violence, insults, and physically assaulting Mohamed Didi, a nurse from Ittihad Tanger. The decision also affected Saad Chato, responsible for nutrition within the Wydad team, who was similarly suspended for one year with an equivalent fine due to the same infractions against a member of the medical staff of the Tanger team.

At the end of the match, there were verbal clashes and skirmishes between the technical staff of both teams, which prompted Ittihad Tanger’s management to call for an official investigation and the necessary measures to ensure that such behavior does not recur in the future, according to a statement issued by the club.
