The Casablanca Stock Exchange began its trading today, Friday, on a positive note, with its main index “MASI” recording a gain of 0.38 percent, settling at 17,988.28 points.
The “MASI.20” index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, saw an increase of 0.37 percent, reaching 1,467.06 points.
Similarly, the “MASI.ESG” index, which comprises companies with the best ratings, advanced by 0.36 percent to stand at 1,222.66 points.
In addition, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, which tracks the performance of small and medium enterprises listed on the exchange, reported a gain of 0.54 percent, climbing to 1,760.8 points.
The “MASI” index concluded trading yesterday, Thursday, with a decline of 0.42 percent.
