Napoli clinched the Serie A title after defeating Cagliari 2-0 in the final round of the competition on Friday.
Scott McTominay, the Scottish midfielder, scored for Napoli in the 42nd minute, followed by Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku six minutes into the second half.
In the same round, Napoli’s closest rivals, Inter Milan, also secured a victory, beating Como 2-0 at their home ground.
Napoli finished the season in first place with 82 points, while defending champions Inter secured second place with 81 points.
