Officially, Hamza Henouri Signs with Wydad for Three Seasons

Wydad Athletic Club has signed striker Hamza Henouri, who comes from Fath Union Sport, on a free transfer. This move is part of the team’s preparations to bolster its squad ahead of upcoming competitions, notably the FIFA Club World Cup scheduled to take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025.

Henouri officially signed his contract with Wydad this Monday morning after being present at the “Wellness” complex, the training center of the Red team. Reliable sources confirmed that he has joined Wydad on a contract extending for three seasons, reflecting the club’s intent to secure offensive stability in the medium term.

At 27 years old, Henouri spent three seasons with Fath Union Sport, where he delivered solid performances that caught the attention of several clubs. According to Transfermarkt, the player’s market value is approximately €450,000, highlighting his status within the Moroccan professional league.

Today, Wydad resumed training at its usual headquarters after a week-long break granted to players following the end of the football season. This return falls within the context of the intensive preparations the club is undertaking to present a strong showing at the Club World Cup, where it will represent Moroccan and continental football.
