On Sunday, May 18, Abdelatif Hammouchi, the Director General of National Security and the National Territory Surveillance, welcomed several widows and parents of police officers who fell as martyrs while performing their duty, having sacrificed their lives to protect the safety of citizens and their property.
The reception took place at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Center in the city of El Jadida, coinciding with the sixth edition of the National Security Open Days, as part of a continuous social program aimed at the families of national security personnel and their dependents.
During this meeting, ten widows were presented with housing units in the cities they had expressed a desire to settle in. Additionally, the parents of two martyrs were awarded a financial grant of 30,000 dirhams each, in an initiative that reflects the official appreciation for their sacrifices.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive system of social services that the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works of National Security Personnel continuously strives to provide, ensuring a fair and stable social environment for the families of the martyrs.
The foundation offers annual support of 15,000 dirhams for each child of the martyrs, which continues until the completion of their university studies. Furthermore, they benefit from free camping along with a financial grant and an additional grant for Eid al-Adha.
To expand the scope of benefits, the parents of martyrs received honorary membership cards that grant them all the rights of members, and the foundation covers their health file processing free of charge.
These steps affirm the unwavering commitment of the Directorate General of National Security to its personnel, fulfilling the royal care that King Mohammed VI extends to the national security families.
