Republic of Burundi Commends the King’s Vision for Africa
The Republic of Burundi, on Monday, expressed its appreciation through Albert Shingiro, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of this African nation, for the royal vision aimed at the continent.
During the first session of the Joint Cooperation Committee between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Burundi in Rabat, co-chaired by Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, and Albert Shingiro, the Burundian minister praised King Mohammed VI’s far-sighted initiative within Atlantic African countries, which aims to establish this region as a geo-strategic framework for pragmatic cooperation and consultation.
The Burundian head of diplomacy also highlighted the opportunities provided by the royal initiative for the Sahel region, aimed at facilitating access for Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean by connecting them with transport and communication networks in their regional context.
