- in International

A U.S. court has annulled the reciprocal tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump, which were set at 10% on all goods imported into the country, according to a ruling published Wednesday evening by a specialized court in international trade.

The court held that only Congress has the authority to impose such tariffs.

The U.S. International Trade Court stated in its ruling that the president cannot invoke the Emergency Economic Response Act of 1977 to impose unlimited additional tariffs on imported products from nearly all countries.
