Mohamed Wahbi, coach of the Moroccan national under-20 team, announced on Friday the list of players called up to participate in the African U-20 Cup of Nations, which will take place in Egypt from April 27 to May 18.
The national squad includes 26 players, featuring professional player Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal from Rennes, defender Julian Msbahi from Twente, and the top scorer of Union Touarika, Moaad Douhak.
Here is the list of the national team for the African U-20 Cup of Nations:
* Goalkeepers: Yanis Benchaaouch – Ibrahim Gomez – Abdelhakim Msbahi.
* Defenders: Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal – Ismail Bakhti – Ismail Baehouf – Issa Habri – Ahmed Khetir – Hamza Koutoun – Julian Msbahi – Fouad Zahwani.
* Midfielders: Ismail Awad – Amin Boukamir – Anas Mqawi – Naufal Hannahch – Hossam Al-Sadiq – Reda Al-Alawi – Saad Al-Haddad.
* Forwards: Ayman Arqik – Adam Al-Mekhtari – Elias Bomsoudi – Moaad Douhak – Junis Abdellawi – Adnan Kharoubi – Othman Maima – Mohamed Yasser Zabidi.
It is noteworthy that the draw for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations placed the Moroccan team in Group B alongside Tunisia, Nigeria, and Kenya.
