The Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation has officially announced the timing schedule for the National Championship 2025 in a formal letter directed to the presidents of the regional boxing leagues, a copy of which has been obtained by "Express TV". The countdown to the national championship for the 2024/2025 sports season has now begun.

In its correspondence, the federation revealed the timeline for the competitions, emphasizing the necessity to adhere to all previously set dates and organizational procedures to ensure the smooth operation of this sporting event.

The federation confirmed that the registration process for boxers will exclusively take place through a dedicated electronic link for each league, starting Sunday, April 20, at 12 PM, with the portal closing on Wednesday, April 23, at 11 PM.

It also stressed that each boxer is allowed to register only once, and no amendments or re-submissions of the registration form will be accepted, as only the first submitted form will be considered.

Additionally, it was highlighted that the registration link should not be shared with any unrelated entities to maintain the integrity and security of the process. The federation’s guidelines are as follows:

  • Determining Boxer Lists: From April 15 to 24, 2025
  • Conducting the Draw: On April 26 and 27, 2025
  • Sending the Electronic Registration Link: Directly to the league presidents via secure channels

Regarding the participation of new associations, the federation clarified that any newly established association is not permitted to enter the national championship until after two sports seasons have elapsed from the date of obtaining its provisional accreditation from the federation. Additionally, they must have played at least two friendly matches and fully bear the organizational costs. This decision applies to all newly enrolled associations for the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 sports seasons, excluding those that participated in last season’s championship.

The federation concluded its letter by emphasizing the importance of the regional leagues coordinating with the responsible regional supervisors, ensuring that the specified deadlines and electronic registration procedures are respected. It also urged the dissemination of this information to clubs and boxers to avoid any potential exclusion due to procedural violations or registration delays.

The federation continues its efforts to modernize operational mechanisms and organize national championships according to precise and transparent standards, ensuring the development of boxing in Morocco and providing an opportunity for young talents to shine on both national and international stages.
