The Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency supports the participation of emerging Palestinian companies at the “GITEX Africa 2025” exhibition

The Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency is participating in the third edition of the “GITEX Africa” exhibition, which opened its activities today, Monday, in Marrakech. They are showcasing their specialized incubator for Palestinian youth projects in the fields of innovation and creativity, the “BMAQ Innovation Hub,” with support from the Moroccan Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.

According to a statement from the Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency, this participation presents a unique opportunity for six emerging Palestinian companies to enhance their contributions to social and economic development in Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories. This aligns with the agency’s objectives set out in its digital strategy for 2024 – 2027, focusing on key sectors such as education, health, financial technology, environmental technology, and digital commerce.

The same source noted that this participation reflects the agency’s direction, under the auspices of the Al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to provide every possible opportunity for Palestinian startups and to encourage their owners to innovate and engage in entrepreneurship within the realm of digital technology. It will also enable them to benefit from support and technical guidance as part of a training and mentorship program, which includes 190 hours of specialized training.

The Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency’s pavilion at the exhibition (20D-20) will host professional meetings and presentations for the participating Palestinian startups, alongside thematic discussion sessions and advocacy meetings aimed at enhancing cooperation between these companies and active Moroccan and international stakeholders in the digital field.

It’s worth mentioning that the Al-Quds Bayt Mal Agency announced its digital strategy for 2024 – 2027 last year under the slogan: “Digital development in service of economic and social development in Jerusalem.” This strategy includes not only the incubation of emerging Palestinian companies in innovation and creativity but also the Bayt Morroco platform for documentation and archiving to protect Palestinian heritage, the “Dallala” platform for social and solidarity marketing, a remote learning platform with Al-Quds University, a psychological clinic, and the “Haya” application for entertainment and education about the virtues of Jerusalem, aimed at children and youth.
