The Arab Parliament values the role of His Majesty the King in supporting the Palestinian cause

The Arab Parliament, in Baghdad, commended the significant and ongoing efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in defending the Palestinian cause. In a resolution regarding the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories issued during its fourth public session of the first legislative term, it emphasized the work being done by the Al-Quds Advisory Fund, which is affiliated with the Al-Quds Committee chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, to preserve the identity and legal status of the city and support its inhabitants’ resilience.
The resolution reiterated that a solution to the Palestinian cause is the right entry point for achieving security, stability, and social development in the region and the world. It stressed the necessity for the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights to freedom and independence and to establish their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The Arab Parliament affirmed its continued efforts at the level of regional and international parliaments and UN organizations, as well as its movement towards international justice mechanisms, whether the International Court of Justice or the International Criminal Court, and its ongoing plans for action at all levels and with all parties to support and assist the Palestinian people.
It called on all international and global parties to assume their responsibilities in achieving security, peace, and stability in the Middle East, which can only be realized by resolving the Palestinian cause based on international legitimacy resolutions and achieving justice and freedom for the Palestinian people.
