Moulay Hassan Daki Welcomes the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Austria in Rabat

Moulay Hassan Daki, the Attorney General at the Court of Cassation and Head of the Public Prosecution, received the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Austria, accompanied by a judicial delegation, this Monday afternoon at the headquarters of the Public Prosecution in Rabat.

This visit, which extends from April 27 to 30, 2025, aims to support judicial cooperation between Morocco and Austria, as well as to enhance the exchange of expertise in the judicial and legal fields.

During the meeting, Daki provided a detailed presentation on the journey towards judicial independence in Morocco, highlighting the responsibilities and roles of the Public Prosecution in implementing criminal policy, exercising public prosecution, and protecting rights and freedoms.

Daki emphasized Morocco’s efforts in protecting women and children and combating organized crime in all its forms, underscoring the importance of international cooperation in addressing common challenges.

For his part, the President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Austria expressed his country’s interest in strengthening judicial cooperation with Morocco, calling for increased exchange of experiences and practices in the field of justice.

Daki inquired during the meeting about ways to enhance practical cooperation between the two judicial institutions, urging for the establishment of joint programs to bolster judges’ capabilities and share best practices.
