His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Ahmad al-Shara, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, on the occasion of his country’s celebration of the 79th anniversary of the Evacuation Day.
In his message, the King expressed, “It gives me great pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you personally for good health and happiness, and to the brotherly Syrian people for ample prosperity and growth, as the Syrian Arab Republic celebrates the 79th anniversary of the Evacuation Day, which coincides with April 17.”
His Majesty stated, “I take this opportunity to reaffirm to you, as you lead this critical phase in the history of your brotherly country, the steadfast position of the Kingdom of Morocco in supporting Syria’s territorial integrity and national sovereignty, as well as the aspirations of the Syrian people for security, stability, and national harmony.”
He continued, “As I renew my congratulations to you on this joyous occasion, I pray that the Almighty grants you success in your noble duties, for the welfare and elevation of the Syrian Arab Republic and its brotherly people.”
