Germany Approves Extradition of Mohamed Boudrika to Morocco After Legal Procedures Exhausted
The German Ministry of Justice has approved the extradition of Mohamed Boudrika, the former parliamentarian and ex-president of Raja Casablanca, to Moroccan authorities. This decision comes after the German Constitutional Court rejected his appeal to halt the extradition process.
The German Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that the decision is final, noting that only the actual execution of the process remains.
Mohamed Boudrika faces charges in Morocco for issuing bad checks, fraud, and financial embezzlement, which the Moroccan authorities used as the basis for his extradition request through legal channels.
It is worth mentioning that Morocco’s Constitutional Court had stripped Boudrika of his parliamentary status, allowing judicial proceedings against him to proceed.
