Commemorative Photos of Wydad Players with the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Trophy Replica
The players of Wydad Athletic Club took commemorative photos today, Wednesday, with the replica of the FIFA Club World Cup trophy, which is currently visiting Morocco as part of its promotional tour in the countries participating in the upcoming tournament, set to be held in the United States during the summer of this year.
The photo session took place on the pitch of Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, where the players of the red team appeared in their official uniforms, as part of the protocol established to promote the global competition that will feature 32 teams for the first time.
Wydad Club organized a special ceremony yesterday evening, Tuesday, celebrating the arrival of the trophy replica, attended by various club members, including players, former officials, and representatives of national media.
The Moroccan representatives will compete in the tournament within Group G, which includes England’s Manchester City, Italy’s Juventus, and the UAE’s Al Ain, in a much-anticipated clash between the giants of the continents.
The FIFA Club World Cup matches are expected to take place between June 14 and July 13, 2025, amid widespread anticipation for this historic edition that will bring together the elite clubs from around the world on American soil.
