Al Ahly and Its Moroccan Players Leave the African Champions League

The draw in the match between Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns has resulted in Al Ahly’s elimination from the CAF Champions League, with both teams scoring one goal each during the game held today.

Sundowns qualified for the final at Al Ahly’s expense, following today’s draw, as they previously had a goalless draw in the first leg.

Al Ahly’s goal came from Taher Mohamed Taher, who received a pass from Imam Ashour and scored with his right foot from outside the penalty area into Sundowns’ net in the 25th minute.

Sundowns equalized in the 89th minute through an own goal by Yasser Ibrahim.

Sundowns are set to face the winner of the match between Pyramids and Orlando Pirates, which will take place shortly at the Military Technical College Stadium.
