A serious traffic accident in Sidi Slimane leaves 8 injured and prompts authorities to respond

Eight people were injured this morning, Monday, in a horrific traffic accident on the road connecting Oulad Hamid and Sidi Slimane, following a violent collision between a large taxi and a light vehicle.

According to initial data obtained by Express TV, the accident occurred after the taxi hit a dog crossing the road, causing the driver to lose control of the steering wheel, resulting in a direct collision with the second vehicle.

The same sources reported that the incident left eight passengers injured, three of whom are in critical condition. They were urgently transported to the regional hospital in Sidi Slimane, while others were referred to the regional hospital in Kenitra for necessary treatment.

The injured were swiftly taken to the hospitals in Sidi Slimane and Zemouri in Kenitra for medical attention, while the gendarmerie started field investigations to determine responsibilities, formalizing a report on the incident. Meanwhile, several road users expressed their dissatisfaction with the absence of protective barriers along the roadway.
