Youth Platform of Sidi Bernoussi Celebrates Twenty Years of the National Initiative Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Youth Empowerment
On Thursday, May 23, 2025, the project incubator of the Youth Platform in Sidi Bernoussi hosted a communication meeting to mark the twentieth anniversary of the launch of the National Initiative for Human Development, initiated by His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The event, organized under the slogan “Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Socio-Economic Integration for Youth,” was a pivotal moment in ongoing efforts to support young people and enhance their integration opportunities.
The event was attended by Mohamed Dardouri, the national coordinator of the National Initiative for Human Development, along with the local governor of Sidi Bernoussi, several local officials, representatives from public and security institutions, academic figures, and civil society members.
The meeting saw significant engagement, with over 1,500 young men and women, alongside more than 50 companies, creating a vibrant space for direct communication between youth and economic actors, all aimed at supporting employment and fostering a culture of initiative.
The program featured a high-level discussion session focused on artificial intelligence as a tool to enhance job opportunities and develop future skills. Experts and officials participated in discussions on how to leverage digital transformation to accelerate professional and social integration.
The meeting concluded with the launch of the “Employment Forum” and the “Career Guidance Caravan,” two practical initiatives aimed at bringing services closer and providing direct support for youth.
Bouchra Belmouafik, president of the support and management association for the Youth Platform in Sidi Bernoussi, stated that this meeting is part of a comprehensive vision based on innovation and artificial intelligence as essential drivers for socio-economic empowerment, in line with the royal directives.
After twenty years since its inception, the National Initiative for Human Development continues to solidify its position as one of the most effective public programs in Morocco, making a real contribution to unleashing young potential and establishing sustainable human development.
