Morocco will host the inaugural edition of the International Ports and Ecosystem Exhibition SIPORTS on February 5, 6, and 7, 2026, at the Mohammed VI Complex in El Jaddida. The event is organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Equipment and Water, and by LINECO Events.

This event comes in the context of the rapidly evolving maritime and port sector, aiming to cement the Kingdom’s position as a major maritime hub in both the Mediterranean and Atlantic regions.

The Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, stated that organizing this exhibition reflects the royal directives supporting the modernization of port infrastructure, highlighting that the event serves as a platform for exchanging experiences and discussing the future of the sector, particularly in terms of innovation and sustainability.

The chairman of the organizing company, Mohsen Barada, emphasized that SIPORTS aspires to be an international appointment for professionals, noting that the exhibition will focus on performance solutions, connectivity, and innovation in response to the changes in global maritime trade.

The exhibition will feature over 300 exhibitors from four continents, distributed across five main halls: the institutional pavilion, port industry, operations, academia and science, and a port museum.

It is expected to attract around 6,000 professional visitors, with a schedule that includes seminars, roundtables, and technical workshops, along with presentations from international experts on topics such as smart ports, maritime connectivity, eco-friendly infrastructure, and regional cooperation.

SIPORTS also aims to create partnership opportunities between the public and private sectors and strengthen Morocco’s position as a pivotal maritime trade center in Africa and the world.
