Royal Army to the Champions League, Wydad to the Confederation Cup

The Royal Army club secured its place in next season’s African Champions League after defeating Hassania Agadir 3-0 in the 30th round of the championship.
Goals for the Royal Army were scored by Orkhan in the 57th minute and Hadraf in the 60th minute, with no response from Hassania Agadir, which finished the season in 13th place and now faces a relegation play-off that will determine its fate in the top division.
On another front, Wydad Athletic Club concluded its season with a valuable victory over visiting Nahda Zemamra, winning 2-0 in the match held on Sunday evening at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, as part of the 30th and final round of the professional league “Inwi”.
Wydad opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Mohamed Rayhi’s penalty kick, before his teammate Mailola added the second goal in the 44th minute, taking advantage of a key pass from striker Obing.
With this victory, Wydad topped off its points total to 54, finishing the season in third place, thereby guaranteeing its participation in the African Confederation Cup next season, while Nahda Zemamra remained at 47 points in fifth place.
