The Atlas Cubs face their opponent in the quarter-finals of the “AFCON”

The Moroccan U20 national football team is set to compete against their Sierra Leonean counterparts next Monday (4 PM) at the June 30 Stadium in Cairo, in the quarter-finals of the African U20 Cup of Nations.
This match comes after the Sierra Leone team finished second in Group A during the group stage of this continental tournament.
The national team qualified for the quarter-finals after topping Group B.
Regarding the other quarter-final matches scheduled for next Monday, Nigeria, which placed second in Group B, will face Senegal, also second in Group C, at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia (1 PM).
Meanwhile, Ghana, which led Group C, will take on Egypt, which finished third in Group A, at 4 PM at the Suez Stadium in Suez. Additionally, the Democratic Republic of Congo, which placed third in Group C, will host South Africa, the top team in Group A, at 7 PM at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia.
The Atlas Cubs aim to secure a victory in their upcoming match to advance to the semi-finals and ensure their ticket to the next U20 World Cup, which will take place in Qatar from September 17 to October 19, 2025.
