Doha is preparing for the draw of the Arab Cup 2025, with the participation of 16 teams.
The International Football Federation (FIFA), in coordination with the Qatari Football Association, announced that the draw for the Arab Cup 2025 will take place on Saturday, May 24, at one of the hotels in the Qatari capital, Doha, coinciding with the final match of the Emir of Qatar Cup.
FIFA has set the draw ceremony time between 11 AM and 1 PM GMT+1, in a two-hour football event that will gather representatives from the 16 participating Arab teams, alongside representatives from the 48 teams qualified for the U-17 World Cup.
Thus, Qatar continues the tradition of hosting the Arab Cup, having hosted the last edition in 2021, which ended with the Algerian national team being crowned champion after defeating the Tunisian team 2-0 in the final. Historically, the Iraqi national team holds the record for the most titles, with four championships, followed by the Saudi national team with two titles, while Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco have each won one title.
