Dozens of institutions and higher education institutes participate in the regional guidance forum in Fez

Dozens of public and private higher education institutions are participating in the regional school, university, and vocational guidance forum, which was inaugurated yesterday, Friday, in Fez.

This event, organized by the Regional Academy for Education and Training in the Fez-Meknes region in partnership with the regional directorates for National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports in Moulay Yacoub and Fez, targets second-year baccalaureate students across all specializations.

The educational guidance counselor at the Regional Academy for Education and Training in the Fez-Meknes region, Youssef Alawi Marani, stated to the Moroccan News Agency the importance of this forum in guiding students preparing for the baccalaureate examinations and their parents, adding that it provides them with direct exchanges with representatives of the participating public and private higher education institutions.

The main objective is to create an interactive space between students about to take the baccalaureate exams and the relevant institutions, informing them about available training programs and university offerings, while allowing them to explore future horizons to choose a training path that meets their personal expectations.

He added that this edition is characterized by organizing a workshop to explore students’ professional orientations using digital tools, noting that this event features the presence of major university institutions such as Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, Moulay Ismail University in Meknes, the National School of Business and Management in Fez, and the Moulay Idriss Preparatory Classes in Fez.

In the same context, Alawi Marani emphasized that in addition to the training aspect, the staff at the Regional Academy for Education and Training are guiding students and offering advice to help them make decisions that align with their personal aspirations and labor market requirements.

The Regional Academy for Fez-Meknes aims, through this two-day forum, which also includes roundtable discussions, to enable students, through personalized support, to make informed choices about their educational paths for better integration into the labor market.
