The Moroccan national futsal team has crowned itself the champion of the international league organized by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation after a deserved victory in the final match against Portugal, with a score of 6-3. The encounter took place on Sunday evening at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maamora.
Player Ismail Amzal stood out significantly during this match, scoring a hat-trick, while Sofiane Chaari, Othmane El Idrissi, and Anes Dahni each added a goal to complete Morocco’s impressive tally.
This achievement reflects the significant progress the national futsal team has made, especially against a strong opponent like the Portuguese team, which is among the top teams internationally. This victory affirms Morocco’s rising status in the world of futsal, thanks to grassroots work and sound training facilitated by national infrastructure, primarily the Mohammed VI Complex.
