Jordanian Ambassador in Morocco Hosts Jordanian Parliamentary Delegation to Discuss Cooperation in Energy and Industry
The Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Morocco, Jumana Ghnimat, welcomed a Jordanian parliamentary delegation from the Energy and Mineral Resources Committee of the House of Representatives during a meeting held at the embassy’s residence in the capital. The discussion focused on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise in the fields of energy and industry.
The delegation, led by the committee’s chairman Dr. Ayman Abu Hayya, included several members of parliament as well as the President of the Jordanian Chamber of Industry, Fathi Al-Jughbir. This work visit aims to expand economic partnership opportunities between the two countries, with the attendance of members from the Jordanian community in Morocco.
During the meeting, the ambassador emphasized the importance of parliamentary visits in strengthening relations between Rabat and Amman, stating that parliamentary diplomacy has become an effective tool for deepening coordination and exchanging experiences, particularly in vital sectors.
For their part, the delegation members expressed their satisfaction with the level of coordination provided by the embassy, highlighting the importance of opening up to the Moroccan experience in energy and mineral resources, and exploring new collaboration opportunities that would benefit both economies.
The meeting concluded with the exchange of honors, as the committee chairman recognized the ambassador for her efforts in consolidating bilateral relations, while the ambassador honored the President of the Jordanian Chamber of Industry in acknowledgment of his contributions to developing the industrial sector and enhancing its regional and international presence.
