Mohamed Chouki, the head of the National Rally of Independents Party, emphasized during the national forum on “the health system and social protection” the importance of ongoing evaluation of reforms and policy development in line with current circumstances and the needs of citizens. He pointed out that continuous listening to health professionals and citizens is a fundamental pillar to ensure the effectiveness of reforms and achieve tangible results on the ground.
Chouki stressed that the country is undergoing a delicate political moment that requires clarity and transparency in communicating with citizens, presenting the outcomes of social and health reforms realistically, acknowledging achievements, and at the same time being humble about the remaining challenges, away from any exaggeration or pretense, to ensure citizens’ trust and credibility of the reform efforts.
He noted that this approach aims to enhance the collective involvement of national competencies and professionals in evaluating reform projects, which allows for strengthening achievements, correcting any discrepancies, and ensuring the continuity of reform initiatives with a clear and responsible path.
