Sabri: Notable Improvement in Investment Indicators in the Fes-Meknes Region by 2025
Mohamed Sabri, the Director General of the Fes-Meknes Regional Investment Centre, highlighted that the year 2025 is marked by an improvement in key investment indicators in the region, with the launch of several structured projects and programs to support businesses. This reflects the dynamism of investment, entrepreneurship, and the competitiveness of the regional offer.
This statement was made during the 15th session of the Centre’s Board of Directors, held yesterday under the chairmanship of the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government responsible for Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Karim Zidan. In his speech, Zidan emphasized the structural reforms initiated by the kingdom to stimulate productive investment and enhance its role as a driver of economic growth and job creation.
Zidan pointed out the pivotal role of the new investment charter in encouraging private initiatives, reducing regional disparities, and directing investments toward high value-added sectors, alongside the introduction of a support system for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
According to a press release from the Regional Investment Centre, this meeting provided an opportunity to review and discuss the Centre’s activities for the year 2025, and to present and approve its financial statements in accordance with the provisions of the Royal Decree No. 1.19.18 concerning the reform of regional investment centers, along with its amendments under Law No. 22.24.
At the conclusion of the board meeting, members unanimously approved all proposed decisions, highlighting the positive outcomes of the investment centre and its commitment to establishing a regional model based on proximity, efficiency, and transparency in supporting investors and businesses in the region.
