The Agricultural Development Agency Launches Call for Projects to Select 20 Ideas Under the “Productive Partnerships” Program
The Agricultural Development Agency has launched a call for project proposals aimed at selecting 20 ideas within the “Productive Partnerships” initiative, presented by producer groups in partnership with buyers. This initiative encompasses several agricultural chains distributed across various regions of the kingdom, as part of the Food Systems Transformation Support Program (2025–2030), funded by the World Bank.
A statement from the agency explained that this project is based on the positive results achieved by a pilot project initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, which was supervised by the Agricultural Development Agency. The project’s goal is to enhance the sustainable inclusion of small producers within structured value chains, improve their access to markets, strengthen the valorization of agricultural products, and stimulate value creation.
The same source added that this initiative is founded on establishing trade agreements based on business plans supported by technical and financial assistance from the state for a period of two years, contributing to the development of producers’ capabilities and enhancing their presence in the markets.
The statement highlighted that candidates can review the application file through the project call system available on the agency’s website: www.ada.gov.ma. Applications can also be sent via email or submitted directly at the agency’s headquarters.
The agency has set the deadline for submitting applications for March 31 at 4:30 PM.
The agency emphasized that the “Productive Partnerships” methodology is based on enhancing cooperation between producer groups and buyers by implementing business plans that meet market requirements within clear and sustainable trade agreements. This enables producers to access profitable markets with high added value capable of accommodating larger quantities of products compared to traditional markets, thereby reducing profit margin losses associated with speculation in certain chains.
The agency also highlighted that the adoption of this new organizational model came after its success in several Latin American countries, where it contributed to increasing the income of participating producers by boosting the volume of marketed agricultural products, aligning with the Green Generation agricultural strategy (2020-2030).
