Sustainable Agricultural Innovation Led by the Youth of Fes and Meknes
The Euromed Innovation Center (EIC) affiliated with the Euro-Mediterranean University of Fes (UEMF) has launched the AgreenTech program, aimed at students and young entrepreneurs carrying innovative projects in the fields of sustainable agriculture and the environment. The program seeks to support ideas capable of providing practical solutions to agricultural and environmental challenges in the Fes-Meknes region.
This program follows an open call to select 10 promising projects from members of the academic community in the region, allowing them to benefit from a preparatory phase before incubation. The program includes intensive training on idea development, designing a business model, market needs verification, as well as mentorship and specialized workshops.
Participants will benefit from Tamwilcom’s support through the InnovInvest fund, in partnership with BlueSpace from Bank Of Africa. The program targets students, researchers, recent graduates, and entrepreneurs linked to universities in the region, particularly those developing ideas in AgriTech, GreenTech, water management, circular economy, and the exploitation of natural resources.
EIC, the innovation incubator at the University of Fes, is an integrated platform to support entrepreneurship and applied research. It offers innovation, incubation, and acceleration pathways, along with a wide network of partners, making it a key driver of innovation and sustainable economic and social development in Morocco and the Mediterranean region.
