Inauguration of the INEX Gallery Featuring Januzak Musabir’s First Exhibition in Morocco Under the Theme “Childhood and the Life of Al-Farabi”

The INEX Gallery in Salé has opened its doors to host the exhibition of the globally renowned Kazakh artist Januzak Musabir, which will take place for the first time in Morocco from February 5 to 7, 2026.

This exhibition is part of the gallery’s efforts to enhance cultural communication between nations and highlight the role of Moroccan culture as a bridge between the East and West.

Titled “Childhood and the Life of Al-Farabi,” the exhibition showcases Musabir’s works created between 2016 and 2020 as part of his grand artistic project “From Childhood to Wisdom.” This project features interconnected epic paintings, each measuring 11.5 meters in length and 1.8 meters in height, depicting Al-Farabi’s intellectual and scientific journey from childhood through prominent Eastern cities such as Otrar, Samarkand, Bukhara, Merv, and Nishapur, culminating in Baghdad and Damascus, where he reached the peak of his intellectual maturity.

Musabir’s paintings transcend traditional imagery, merging intertwined symbols with reflections of colors and deep cultural and intellectual significances. They also incorporate traditional Kazakh motifs such as “caravans, manuscripts, and books,” raising questions about the interaction between civilizations, the continuity of human thought, and its relation to time.

The exhibition underscores the role of visual art as a bridge for cultural dialogue and soft diplomacy, presenting art as a tool to enhance human communication across borders. The event is organized in partnership with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Rabat and the Belghazi Museum of Musical Instruments.

It is worth noting that Januzak Musabir is an award-winning artist and writer whose works are exhibited in museums and private collections worldwide, making this unique exhibition in Salé his debut in Morocco.
