Morocco strongly condemned the Iranian missile attack that targeted several Arab countries, declaring its full solidarity with them. The Moroccan Kingdom expressed its severe denunciation of the attack attributed to Iran, which it deems a serious infringement on national sovereignty and regional security.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans residing abroad, the assault affected the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, characterizing the operation as a “flagrant violation of national sovereignty” and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.
Rabat emphasized in its official stance that targeting the territories of these nations represents an unacceptable escalation that could destabilize regional stability. It affirmed its support for the concerned capitals in all legitimate measures they take to protect their security and ensure the safety of their citizens and residents.
This Moroccan position occurs against the backdrop of escalating regional tensions, amidst Arab and international calls for restraint and the prioritization of diplomatic solutions to avoid widening confrontations in the area.
