The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading today, Wednesday, with positive performance, as its main index “MASI” rose by 0.22 percent, settling at 19,597.09 points.
The “MASI.20” index, reflecting the performance of 20 listed companies, improved by 0.16 percent to reach 1,545.67 points, while the “MASI.ESG” index, dedicated to companies with top ratings in governance and social and environmental responsibility, increased by 0.31 percent to 1,307.95 points.
In contrast, the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index, measuring the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, saw a slight decline of 0.04 percent, settling at 1,920.95 points.
The “MASI” index had concluded trading yesterday, Tuesday, with a rise of 0.59 percent.
